Some sweet treats are feeding a need for food in Lake Country.
Smile Cookies are back at Tim Hortons, being sold until Sunday, May 5 in support of the Lake Country Food Bank and other local charities.
Kids recently volunteered to decorate the cookies at the Lake Country Food Bank and made a little video to support the cause.
In Vernon and Lumby, every Smile Cookie purchased will help to provide much-needed equipment to care for critically ill children.
The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation is currently raising money to purchase two additional central monitoring systems for the pediatric ward at the hospital.
Those wanting to purchase a bulk order can do so online 24 hours in advance for pick up.
