The Kelowna Chamber’s Presidents Dinner was held at the Coast Capri Hotel on Apr. 25.
The evening also saw several individuals recognized for community service over the past year.
Former Chair Pamela Pearson received the newly named Marion Bremner Memorial Award for her contributions from 2023-2024.
Pearson paid tribute to Bremner in receiving the award. “She was an inspiration to us all, and we aspire to live up
to her legacy.”
Pearson was also made an Honorary Life Member of the Chamber, and retiring board chair Dan Price received a ceremonial gavel.
Chamber Board President Maryse Harvey said $1,000 will be donated to Meals on Wheels in Bremner’s name.
“Marion was the first woman chair of our Chamber, and an important link in the life of Kelowna, who worked tirelessly for Meals on Wheels for 20 years,” Harvey added.
